What running locations from one list costs
When every location shares one inbox, with no separate pipelines per location, small things slip. A lead for the north office sits with the south team. A manager sees customers they do not serve. Month end reports show one total, so you cannot tell which site is growing.
Example: a cleaning company runs a residential crew in one city and a commercial crew in another. Both teams pull from one lead list. A commercial request waits two days because the residential team assumed it was not theirs. Nothing was wrong with either team. The setup did not say who owned what.
How to manage multiple business locations
- Give each location or line of work its own pipeline, with stages that fit it.
- Assign people to the locations they serve. Everyone else stays out.
- Keep one customer record per person, even if they use two locations.
- Route leads to the right place as they arrive.
- Read numbers per location and for the whole company.
- Let owners move work between locations when plans change.
How Dheed works as a CRM for multiple locations
Dheed is a CRM with workspaces. It calls each location, brand or department a workspace. Each workspace has its own leads, pipeline and deals, tasks, services, appointments and dashboard numbers. A switcher in the sidebar moves between them, and an All workspaces view shows everything at once. Automations can check which workspace a lead is in, so each location can have its own follow up.
Some things are company wide on purpose: the customer list, the team, the business profile and hours, business email, custom fields, the plan, and the AI Receptionist. A customer who uses two locations is one contact. On a contact's page, items in workspaces a person cannot see show only as a count.
Who sees what
Owners and managers see every workspace and can move leads and deals between them. Other roles, such as sales or technicians, are given only the workspaces you assign, on invite or later from the Team page.
Phones and booking
The AI Receptionist, an add-on on Pro and Business, uses one number for the company. When it books a visit, the appointment lands in the workspace of that service. Other calls create leads in the workspace you choose for AI leads. Read more on the AI receptionist and scheduling pages.
Plans and setup in Dheed
Free and Starter include 1 workspace. Pro ($79 a month) includes 3 workspaces and 2 people. Business ($149 a month) includes 5 of each. Extra workspaces are $15 a month each, and extra people are $9 on Starter, $7 on Pro and $5 on Business.
- Choose Pro or Business, or add workspaces to Starter.
- In Settings, Workspaces, add a workspace for each location or brand. Until you add a second, Dheed keeps a single hidden Main workspace.
- Set the services and pipeline stages for each one.
- Invite your team and assign workspaces.
- Pick which workspace receives AI Receptionist leads.
- Add an automation condition on workspace if locations follow up differently.
Tips and mistakes to avoid
- With any multi location business software, split by how work is run, not by every small difference. Too many workspaces make reports thin.
- Shared hours and one company profile suit most branches. If two brands need different phone lines, owners or hours, separate accounts may fit better.
- Review the All workspaces view weekly to spot a location falling behind.
- Multi site service companies like cleaning businesses and dental offices often split by city or by type of work. Dental offices should keep health details out of Dheed.
A CRM for multiple locations works well when every location also shares the same tools, which is the point of the all-in-one business platform. See plans and pricing, or start free.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run two businesses or brands in one Dheed account?
Yes, as workspaces under one company. Each workspace has its own leads, pipeline, tasks, services and appointments. Customers, team, business profile, hours, email and the AI Receptionist are shared company wide, so brands with different owners or phone lines may be better as separate accounts.
How many locations does each Dheed plan include?
Free and Starter include 1 workspace, Pro includes 3 and Business includes 5. Starter, Pro and Business can add more workspaces at $15 a month each.
Can a location manager see only their own location?
Yes. Owners and managers see every workspace and can move leads and deals between them. Other team members are given only the workspaces you assign, on invite or later from the Team page.
Does each location need its own AI Receptionist number?
No. The AI Receptionist uses one number for the company. Bookings land in the workspace of the service that was booked, and other calls create leads in the workspace you choose for AI leads.
