Turn service agreements into a calendar
Pest control service agreements usually follow a pattern: an initial treatment, a follow up a few weeks later, then quarterly visits. In Dheed, book the initial and follow up visits as appointments, then set up a recurring service for the ongoing plan. Each recurring service has a start date, time, length, assigned tech and the price the customer sees. Repeats can run from every week to once a year, so quarterly residential plans and monthly commercial accounts like restaurants both fit.
Visits are booked as real appointments 45 days ahead. If a customer changes their plan or pauses it, Dheed quietly cancels the future visits and rebooks them. That keeps recurring pest control service from turning into a monthly spreadsheet chore. For a full walk through, read how to set up recurring service plans.
Pest control business software for seasonal calls
New customers arrive with the season, and they want someone soon. Give each service its own length plus travel buffers: a general pest exterior, an interior treatment, a rodent exclusion visit, a mosquito treatment. Service areas by ZIP code, ZIP prefix or city flag callers outside your territory. Staff schedules set which techs do which services, so only your licensed termite tech is offered for termite work.
That is what pest control scheduling software should do in peak weeks: put the right tech on the right job without the office juggling it by hand. See the calendar in detail on our field service scheduling software page.
Termite inspections on a deadline
Termite inspection scheduling often comes with a deadline, such as a home sale closing. Create a task with the due date for the report, assign it, and link it to the customer or deal. Overdue tasks stand out for whoever owns them. Custom fields can hold details like the closing date or the agent's name, and you can tag real estate agents who send you work.
Texts that get the gate open
Many visits fail at the gate: it is locked, the dog is out, or nobody knew you were coming. With the business texting software add-on, customers get a text the day before and an optional reminder two hours ahead. Use the template to ask them to unlock the gate and keep pets inside. Customers can reply C to confirm or R to ask for a call back, which creates a high priority task. Texts wait during quiet hours, 9 PM to 8 AM, and reminders for a moved visit are dropped.
The add-on is $50 a month for 1,000 texts. Carrier approval usually takes a few days to a few weeks.
Notes and photos on every stop
Put the details that matter on the job: bait station locations, areas the customer wants skipped, the side door code, a note about the koi pond. Private photos stay on the job, which helps the next tech find stations fast. Each technician sees only their own jobs.
Between visits, customers sometimes need a re-service. With the customer portal for service businesses, they can see upcoming visits, pay invoices and send a request that opens a thread with your office.
Quotes for bigger jobs
Exclusion work, termite treatments and commercial contracts deserve a written quote. A Dheed estimate can hold up to three options, for example a one time treatment, a quarterly plan, or a quarterly plan with mosquito service in summer. The customer signs on their phone, which wins the deal and creates the job.
Pest control invoicing that keeps up
Create an invoice from each completed visit in one click. Recurring invoices are not part of Dheed yet, so per visit billing is the way to go today. Customers pay by card into your own Stripe account, with Stripe's fee plus a Dheed platform fee of 1% on Free and Starter, 0.5% on Pro or 0.25% on Business. Overdue reminders can go out at 3, 7 and 14 days, and a review request can follow a paid invoice.
One honest note: this pest control business software does not track chemical use or state reporting. Keep those records where they are today.

Frequently asked questions
Can pest control software schedule quarterly services automatically?
Yes. In Dheed a recurring service repeats a visit on the schedule you choose, from every week to once a year, and books each visit as a real appointment 45 days ahead. Quarterly plans fit inside that range.
Does Dheed track chemical use or state reporting for pest control?
No. Dheed does not keep pesticide application records or state reports. Keep those in the system you use today, and use Dheed for leads, scheduling, quotes, invoices and customer texts.
How do customers ask for a free re-service between visits?
With the customer portal turned on, a customer can send a request from their account. It opens a two way thread with your office, and you book the visit on the calendar. A text reply of R also creates a call back task.
Can Dheed bill pest control plans every month?
Recurring invoices are not available in Dheed yet. You create an invoice from each completed visit in a click, and automations can remind customers about unpaid invoices at 3, 7 and 14 days.
